Shown here are newly appointed awardees of the Walter Zeller fellowships to four members of the Patchogue Kiwanis Club. The fellowship was created by the Kiwanis International Foundation for Kiwanians who have made an extraordinary promotion and fund raising effort on behalf of “The ELIMINATE Project”, a project designed to raise $110 million to vaccinate mothers and children against the excruciating ill effects of Maternal Neonatal Tetanus. Walter Zeller was the first donor to the Kiwanis International Foundation in 1940. The fellowship was created in his honor on behalf of this project.
